First off...

We MOVED!

We made it!

The drive was long and miserable...

but California is great. The weather is wonderful!

We can't wait to start exploring our new city!!

We have been spending the weekend with my family in Lake Tahoe.

I LOVE it! I LOVE being home!

Those of you that have been to my parents house,

have seen The Beatles room.

If you haven't, let me show you around...

My sister Corines old bedroom, converted into a Beatles shrine/museum.

My Dad's a collector, a scrounge, a hard core garage sailor...

So when we all moved out of the house, he found a new hobby,

Collecting Beatles memorabilia...

They are the Greatest band of ALL time... 

and he just always needs to have something to collect.

When we were younger, it was old gas station signs.

They were plastered all over the house,

We had a juke box, old gas pumps in the living room, florescent signs lighting the house up...

One of my fav things as a kid was to go scrounging in peoples 

old barns/gas stations looking for a rare old gas sign...

The Beatles Room is pretty great though.

It is floor to ceiling, wall to wall covered.

Each wall is a different bright color,

and he has made matching brackets, shelves, and signs from his welding shop...

so, here it is.....

We are in Tahoe for a few days visiting my parents.

Its been a wonderful blizzard snow filled trip.

Utah's got nothing on Tahoe.

While Utah has been raining for weeks straight,

Tahoe has been dumping,

like 4+ feet of beautiful snow.

I just love it!

That's our house hidden way back in there..

We took a little trip to the pier down the street.

It was real cold, and windy, and snowy, and beautiful.

So it's been 10 years since I graduated from High School.

It was soooo much fun to see everyone, and hang out like the old days.

* Finding out that Nikki became a Priest on line

so she could marry our friend Michelle and her husband

We spent last week in Tahoe, and had an early Christmas celebration.

It was WONDERFUL!

We spent time with family,

Celebrated Lori and Pierre's wedding,

and remembered the Savior.

So i'm basically a seasoned Hot Air Ballooner.
This was my second time, and was even more wonderful then I remembered.

We went with my dads friend Harley at Lake Tahoe Hot Air Balloons
He's the best, funniest Balloner around.

We launched from a special made boat in the lake.
(cool hu? they are the only people that boat launch in the world.)

It was so so cold at 6am, but sure heated up when the gas started flowing.
We defiantly needed head heat protection...

The flight was so so wonderful. we could see all of Lake Tahoe,
and Carson Valley.
I think I will buy one and take up the hobby...
