Baby Crib

Baby Crib

Still counting down the days to baby.
I have just over a week left...
The baby room is just about done.

My dad found me this AMAZING antique crib.
I'm am sooo in love with it.
It is in perfect condition.
AND
the side bars come off so it turns into a little toddler bed!!
Sooo cute!
and yes, the bars are too far apart 
so I have another crib that we will be using until baby is old enough for this one.

    Correct me if I’m wrong, but I think that crib is a hospital bed--but wow! Very creative indeed! Yes, I love the whole idea, including its design. It’s simple, but yet wonderful! Maybe you should put extra pillows on all sides, for your baby’s safety. Good luck and enjoy!

    Check the ease of the dropside release. Since baby will most likely be asleep when you put her in the crib, an easy and quiet drop side is essential. Make sure it isn't too easy though - you don't want baby to learn how to release the dropside.

    what you have here is an antique (over 100 years old) French children's Hospital Cot. I have one almost exactly the same except for the finials. Mine has the original single brass ball finial. I am looking to sell mine and was curious as to how much you paid for yours. I have yet to see another that is so like mine and am curious.
